Kaizen
So just what does Kaizen mean? It’s possibly the most iconic Lean name that we all know – or will about to know. But when you do a bit research on the web for the actual translation you’ll find slightly different variations. However, you should forget trying to win the battle of the precise etymology and instead focus on the philosophy. Future posts will go in to this in a bit more detail.

The key word is ‘change’ which will done to ‘make things better’.
This will be ‘continuous’ and ‘improvements’ will be made.

“Kaizen is about changing the way things are. If you assume that things are all right the way they are, you can’t do kaizen. So change something!”
