JUST IN AGILE
~ trying to make sense of it all ~
Welcome to Just in Agile!
Think of it like The Beatles, a set of ‘Fab Four’ subjects that are connected to make one supergroup! Please don’t get distracted by semantics. Agile, Lean, Scrum and Kanban can be isolated and made unique, however they share properties that beautifully, Come Together.
This website is far from complete and articles may not be published for a while as it’s not my main endeavour. It was started as a personal project to capture Agile-related topics that I’m interested in.
Product development, like life, is unpredictable, but hopefully we can try to make sense of it all.

~ explore the ‘Fab Four’ subjects ~
~ The Beatles in our supergroup ~
We shouldn’t take this parody and the website too seriously. Let’s try to always have a bit of fun, especially during A Hard Day’s Night.
To help us with this, the The Fab Four will be playing ‘We Can Work it Out’.
~ some interesting facts ~
2001
Agile
20 years since the Agile Manifesto was written. Learn about the roots and some popular concepts. Just remember: love OVER profit.
1902
Lean
The Toyota Production System, showed the way. The term ‘Lean’ was based on this. Learn that ‘waste’ isn’t just something you throw in a bin.
1993
Scrum
The most popular framework for helping teams create wonderful things! A simple concept but takes an age to master, learn how to.
1955
Kanban
For me this is about Kanban signs and boards as derived from Toyota. Yes, there’s more to it (organisation flow), but on their own majestic.
~ it’s quote time! ~

“There’s so much information on Agile, Lean, Scrum and Kanban it’s no wonder there’s just as much confusion! All I’d say is to keep true to the original values and principles of when each emerged, staying true to the spirit of intention.”
